How to read what is on this site, how our prices work, and what actually governs the work we do for you.

What this page covers
This page covers the use of this website and the information published on it. It is not the agreement under which we do your work — that is the engagement letter, and it is a separate document.
Bravo Accountants, ABN 70 666 993 068, is a CPA accounting practice at Mudjimba on the Sunshine Coast.
General information, not advice
Everything on this site — the service pages, the answers to common questions, and the guides you can download — is general information. It does not take account of your circumstances, your business, or what you are trying to do, because it was written without knowing any of that.
So please do not act on it on its own. Before you make a decision that turns on any of it, talk to us or to another qualified adviser who knows your situation. Working out what you need is what the first 15-minute call is for.
We take care with what we publish, but we cannot promise it is complete, current, or free of error, and we are not responsible for a decision made on the strength of it alone.
Tax law changes, and some of it has not changed yet
Tax is a moving target. What is correct when we publish it can be overtaken by a change in the law, a new ruling, or a change in how an existing rule is applied.
Some of what we describe is not yet law. In particular, the capital gains tax changes we refer to were announced in the 2026 Federal Budget and have not completed their passage through Parliament. We think they are worth planning around, and we say why — but announced measures can be amended or dropped, and nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of how they will land.
We update the site as things change. That is not the same as it being current at the moment you read it.
Prices
Where we publish a price, it is current at the date shown at the top of this page and is a guide rather than a quote. What the work actually costs depends on its scope, and scope is what the first conversation establishes.
You will always see the price for your own work in writing before you commit to anything.
The guides
The guides on this site are free, and you are welcome to use them. They are checklists we wrote for the questions that come up most often, which means they are general by design — they cannot know what is unusual about your business, and the things that go wrong are usually the unusual things.
Downloading one does not make you a client and puts you under no obligation.
The work itself
Nothing on this site creates a client relationship, and nothing on it is an offer we are bound to. We agree the work in writing before we start it, including what it covers, what it costs, and what it does not cover.
Where anything on this site differs from what we have agreed with you in writing, the written agreement is the one that counts.
Information we are required to disclose to you
As a registered tax agent, our work for you is performed in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009. Our tax agent registration number is 26220965. Under that Act, the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024 requires us to make the following disclosures to you.
Matters that could significantly influence your decision to engage us, or to continue to engage us, for a tax agent service from 1 July 2022 onward: none applicable.
The Tax Practitioners Board maintains a register of tax agents and BAS agents. You can access and search that register at the first link below.
If you have a complaint about our tax agent services, contact your accountant in the first instance with the details by email. If they are unable to resolve your complaint within 3 business days, please contact the Director, Miranda Bravo Hollands, at [email protected]. Your complaint will be investigated by the Director.
We will acknowledge your complaint by email, set out our understanding of the circumstances, and outline the dispute resolution process. We will attempt to resolve it within 14 days.
If you are unhappy with the outcome we propose, you can then make a complaint to the Tax Practitioners Board using the complaints link below. The TPB will acknowledge your complaint by email, then review and risk assess it. If you are unhappy with how the TPB has dealt with your complaint, that page sets out your review rights and who can assist you further.
The Tax Practitioners Board publishes general information for clients covering our obligations to you and yours to us. It is in the factsheet linked below.

This site, and the ones we link to
The words, images and guides we have written and made for this site are ours. You are welcome to link to the site or to share a page. Please do not republish our content as your own.
Product names, logos and certification marks belonging to other organisations — including CPA Australia, Xero and Leaders in Business — remain the property of their owners and appear here to identify the credentials and software we work with.
We link out to services we do not control — a booking page, a business assessment, Google, our social profiles and a few others. We are not responsible for what those sites publish or what they do with your information.
What each of those services receives, and everything else we do with your information, is set out separately.
If something here is wrong
If something on this site looks wrong, out of date, or does not match what we have told you, tell us — email [email protected] or call 07 5378 1442. We would rather hear it than leave it up.
